Overview:

North of Dublin is the Fishing village of Howth.  Howth peninsula is a fabulous tourist destination at the end of the North DART line (commuters train).   Howth Harbour is buzzing with restaurants where you can enjoy some of Ireland’s best seafood.  Starting from Howth Train Station, we’re suggesting two loops that will bring you to the top of Howth Head.  Along the route you will enjoy stunning views over the Irish Sea Coastline, Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains.

Route Description

Start from Howth DART station and follow the coast towards the harbour. At the pier follow the road up to reach the start of the trail. The route is fully marked and follows the shoreline of the peninsula. Return through the golf course into Howth.
