Kilmacanogue to Bray Route: 18k – 785m⇧

By Fred – November 20th, 2021

Accessible by public transport, this route offers a great challenge with 1000m of positive climb. The route was done as part of a Press Trip organised by Tourism Ireland France where we welcomed journalists from Nature Trail in France. The route starts at Kimacanogue, with a climb to the top of the big Sugarloaf, then on to the Little Sugarloaf, down towards Belmont Demesne, over Bray Head and to finish at Bray Seafront.

The 45a bus leaves from Bray DART station to the starting point at Kilmacanogue every 30 minutes roughly. Food and drinks can be purchased along the way at Kilmac, Belmont and Bray.
