10km Trail Loop in Sitges Holiday Resort

For two years in a row now, I have been with my son to Sitges during mid-term break. Located some 40 minutes by train to Barcelona and on the Mediterranean coast, Sitges is home to the Celtic Creation Ireland Festival where various Traditional Irish performances take place, including my son’s school.

Sitges is easy to access from Ireland with several daily flights from Dublin & Belfast into Barcelona Airport. Sitges can then be reached using the local train network. Sitges is a family friendly destination with plenty accommodation and dining options.

Sitges sits just between the mountains of the Garraf National Park and the sea. With the help of my local friend Marc and some online research we created the loop below.

I initially plan my routes with maprun.net then export the route to the mapmyrun.com. I then open the app on my phone and follow the route.
