Rachel Nolan, passionate trail runner and owner of Rachel’s Irish Adventures hosts her first Trail Running Retreat exclusively for women in 2020 between April 25th and May 2nd.
Rachel’s Irish Adventures specialises in tailor made private tours both active and cultural. Rachel guides her culturally curious new friends ´off the beaten path’ to explore the hidden gems of the Emerald Isle to provide a unique locally immersive experience.
As a outdoors enthusiast, personal trainer and experienced tour & running guide, Rachel is excited to host her first trail running & culture experience for women from all over the world:
“In this women’s trail running retreat, my mission is to bring together a group of amazing like-minded ladies that are also passionate about the outdoors and trail running, to experience, discover and taste the best of the west of Ireland, share these experiences together and leave feeling recharged and connected.”
The ‘Call of the West of Ireland – Trail running & culture – Women | Edition’ will be based out of Ballina, Co. Mayo. Rachel will take her guests to her favourite trails along the Irish west coast including a run up Ireland’s highest sea cliffs on the stunning Achill island. The trail distances will vary between 8 and 18km per day holding a relaxed pace that allows time to take in the views and enjoy the moment.
Rachel’s package includes not only workshops like “Run a healthy balance” and “Krav Maga – Self defence”. She also makes sure her guests have a true culturally immersive experience while pulling their own pint of Guinness or learning more about Irish Whiskey in her ‘Whiskey Appreciation Session”.
